On Sunday morning about 5:00 am a report of a man walking in the roadway on Hwy 90 and McCown road near Welsh came in from Welsh Police dept.  Deputies responded and met with Welsh Police on Hwy 90 at LA 382.

The male detained was found walking down the middle of the roadway in the dark.  During questioning and pat down deputies discovered a Grizzly tabacco can that contained a crystal like substance determined to be methamphetamine. 

Corey Lee Kratzer, 22, of 615 North Morton street, Jennings was booked into the parish jail on possession of CDS II and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kratzer is held with no bond.
