Utility theft

On August 18, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to 139 Sheridan Street, Iowa in reference to theft of utilities and property damage.
Ronald Wayne Owens, 45, was booked into the parish jail for Criminal Damage to Property and Theft.
The water district advised that Owens failed to pay the past three months water bills due, and the water meter lock and meter were damaged , removed and replaced with a rubber hose and clamps to restore water to the residence without authority of the Water district.
