Traffic stop results in two arrests

Wednesday morning, September 11, around 3:20 am deputies stopped a vehicle on North Adams street Welsh for traffic violation. Vehicle license plate didn't match vehicle.
The two occupants, Samson Jerome Batiste, 25, of 1222 Garage Alley, Jennings and Jermal A. Perry, 31 of 916 Florence street, Jennings were arrested.
Batiste was cited for Driver must be licensed, Driving on right side of roadway and booked on felony possession of firearm by convicted felon.
The passenger, Perry was booked on felony possession of a firearm by convicted felon. Both are held with no bond.
