Traffic stop results in two arrests

On Friday March 6, 2020 deputies patrolling Jennings stopped a vehicle for headlamps out at 9:00 pm on Hwy 26 and Guidry road.
Deputies discovered the driver was a fugitive with outstanding warrants. A consent to search was obtained and the search revealed narcotics in the vehicle. Deputies found methamphetamine, marijuana, and Adderall pills.
James Ray Savoie II, 22, 118 West Racca road, Jennings, LA was arrested and booked on outstanding warrant for Carnal Knowledge of a juvenile.
Zachary Omar Washington, 26, of 8320 Martin Roy road, Jennings was arrested and booked into the parish jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of CDS II methamphetamine.
