Traffic stop results in drug arrest

On Saturday, June 19, 2021, Deputies patrolling east on First Street in Jennings, observed a white male riding a bicycle. He made a left turn without stopping at intersection and was stopped in the front of the Jennings elementary school.
Donald James Richard II, 46, of 617 Calcasieu street, Lake Arthur was in possession of a syringe and a brown substance believed to be heroin. Richard was arrested and booked on possession of CDS I (Heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
