traffic stop nets drug arrests

On Thursday night at 11:15 pm deputies stopped a vehicle on West Division street near Merry street. A consent was obtained and the search revealed occupants had a clear cellophane baggy containing a white powder and a cup that contained a clear crystal like substance.
Ethan James Dillon, 17, 102 Commercial Avenue, Lake Arthur, LA and Mkai Raekwon White, 19, of 522 Louisiana Avenue, Lake Arthur were arrested and booked into the parish jail for Obstruction of Justice and possession of CDS II. Dillon was also charged with traffic violation license plate light required.
