Traffic stop leads to outstanding warrant arrests
Jeff Davis parish patrol deputies arrested two last night on outstanding warrants. The arrests were initiated during a traffic stop that occurred on Myers lane at around midnight. The vehicle was stopped for a taillight out and switched plate.
The driver, Ryan Lee Stroder,28, of 9295 Mallett Road, Lake Arthur had no license as it was under suspension. The passenger, Brandon Scott Crochet, 37, of 1610 West Division street, Jennings. A records check on both returned with outstanding warrants. Stroder was issued citations for driving under suspension and switched plates, he was booked on warrants for disturbing the peace and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Crochet was booked on warrants for DWI and driving under suspension. This was Brandon Crochet's 4th arrest in the last 8 months.
