Traffic stop leads to drug arrests

Deputies made two arrests involving drugs this weekend.  Andrew Leblanc, 32, of 114 Elizabeth street, Welsh and Ernest Goldman Wilridge, 29, were both arrested after a traffic stop on East Plaquemine street in Jennings revealed narcotics. 

Leblanc was charged with Possession of CDS IV with intent to distribute and Possession of CDS I marijuana with intent to distribute along with stop signs violation.

Wilridge was charged with Resisting an officer, Possession of CDS IV with intent to distribute, possession of synthetic cannabinoids with intent to distribute, transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses, and a warrant for contempt of court. Both are held in parish jail with no bond.
