Traffic stop arrest

On May 12, 2023, Deputies patrolling on Lake Arthur Avenue near West South Street Jennings, made a traffic stop on a red Dodge truck. The vehicle pulled into an apartment complex near West South Street.
Deputies spoke with the driver and a passenger Alexis Kendall. Alexis Sue Kendall, 23, of 8317 Martin Roy Road, Jennings had an active arrest warrant and was taken into custody.
During arrest deputies located a clear baggie containing a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Kendall was booked into the parish jail for outstanding warrant for contempt of court and possession of CDS II.
