Third drug arrest in Welsh investigation

Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's detectives and Jennings Police made an arrest on another individual connected to the search warrants that were served on Thursday morning in Welsh, LA.

Detectives located Robert Moore, 35, of 102 North Carter street, Welsh, LA in a hotel room in Jennings.  Moore was arrested without incident on warrants for 2 counts Distribution of CDS II. 

During the arrest, detectives discovered that Moore had in his possession marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine. Moore was also charged with Possession of marijuana, Distribution of CDS II, possession of CDS II, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and Illegal use of CDS in the presence of a minor.

There were two small children, ages 1 and 2 in the hotel room with Moore. Moore is held in the parish jail with no bond.
