Theft arrests

On Monday, April 17, 2023, Deputies traveling on Highway 383 near 22002 Highway 383 observed a white Toyota Tacoma bearing Texas license plate. A string of residential burglaries at the residence have occurred over the past several months in the area. 

Deputies approaching the vehicle, observed two males come from inside the East tree line.

The males were identified as Benjamin Ware, 52, of 131 Cherokee Street, Kinder and Kean Navuth, 39, of 2378 FM 3247, Orange, Texas.

A green Yanmar tractor reported stolen in previous theft reports was stuck in the wooded area. 

The battery was missing, and the two males had the battery with them.

Ware was arrested and booked for criminal trespass and attempted unauthorized use of a movable. 

Navuth was charged with criminal trespass, unauthorized use of a movable, possession of CDS IV and Theft.
