Theft of motor vehicle

On Thursday August 8, 2019 deputies took a report of the theft of a vehicle from 2064 Jeff Davis Academy road, Jennings.
At 3:00 pm Thursday afternoon deputies received a call that the vehicle was located in the parking lot at Peto's truck stop, Roanoke. When deputies arrived the security guard directed them to the vehicle and to the individuals that were driving it.
Lauren Elizabeth Groves, 30, 116 Anna street, Jennings, LA was arrested for an outstanding contempt of court warrant and for unauthorized use of a movable. She is held in the parish jail with no bond.
