Sheriff's Office find large amount of cash hidden in bumper of rental vehicle

On Saturday, November 16, 2013, Jefferson Davis Parish Deputies stopped a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta for speeding 93/70.  The vehicle was driven by Corky Alexander, 61 yoa,  of 3200 Hikes Lane #48, Louisville, KY. A K-9 alert on the vehicle led to the search. The search of the vehicle revealed a crack pipe and $71,910.00 of US Currency hidden in the vehicle. He was booked and released on the charge of speeding and poss. of drug paraphernalia due to lack of jail space.
