Pursuit arrest

On Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 1:25 am Deputies observed a truck fail to stop at Elton Road and West Plaquemine Street.
Deputies activated their emergency lights to make a traffic stop. The vehicle accelerated south on North Doyle street and ran from deputies until it stopped at a residence located at 5094 South Cutting Avenue.
Deputies chased the driver for a short time on foot and apprehended him. Frederick Kelvin Mixon, 41, of 5094 S. Cutting street, Jennings was arrested and booked into the parish jail for Aggravated Flight from an Officer, Resisting an Officer, ( 4 Counts ) Stop Signs Yield Signs, and 32:64 Speeding.
Mixon was also being held for Dallas Texas police on outstanding warrant for robbery.
