On March 24, 2025, Jamarcus Williams was arrested by the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office during a court hearing. Williams was found to have active out of state warrants for related charges to his court hearing. After confirming with the other agency that they will in fact extradite him, Williams was arrested by JDPSO, was transported to the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail and booked in for an out-of-state detainer. Williams is currently being held pending extradition. We will continue to support all agencies to keep Jefferson Davis Parish a safer community.
