Iowa man arrested in domestic abuse case

Friday evening deputies made an arrest of Jeremy Chad Vincent, 41, of 19475 Hwy 383, Iowa for domestic abuse battery and false imprisonment. A warrant was issued for Vincent's arrest after deputies received a complaint from the victim that Vincent had hit ad pushed the victim on Thursday night.  The victim also stated that Vincent took her car keys and cell phone that evening and closed her in the bedroom of their home to prevent her from leaving and/or calling police. The victim came to the Sheriff's Office Friday and reported the incident. Deputies observed cuts, scrapes and bruising on the victim.  Vincent was arrested on the charges and booked into the parish jail without bond.
