Illegal discharge of weapon

On August 17, 2023, at midnight, Deputies were dispatched to 21259 South Frontage Road, Iowa, in reference to a subject being shot at.
Deputies located a spent 9MM casing on the ground outside the residence. During the investigation deputies discovered the suspect was Jimmy Jesus Pined-Castillo.
Castillo 28, of 14501 Empanada, drive #313, Houston, Texas was identified as the shooter. A witness stated Castillo fired the weapon into the air to scare the victim and then walked away.
Castillo was booked into the parish jail for illegal carrying / discharge of weapon.
