Heroin arrest

On Sunday, October 18, 2020, Deputies patrolling the area of South Lake Arthur Avenue and West Nezpique Street when I observed a white GMC pickup with a headlight out.
The vehicle was stopped in the Super Foods parking lot on South Lake Arthur Avenue. During the stop, deputies conducted a pat down on a passenger after obtaining consent to search the vehicle.
The passenger had an obvious bulge in the back of his pants. Deputies were given permission to remove the item. Deputies discovered two clear packages of a brown substance and a large some of currency.
Aaronton Williams, 29, of 314 Levi Street, Jennings was arrested and booked into the parish jail for obstruction of justice and Possession of CDS I Heroin
