Escapee returned to jail

On 11/12/2020, the escaped trustee, Duane Lemaire contacted Jeff Davis Sheriff's office and advised he was at a local church in Jennings and wanted to turn himself in.
Deputies located Lemaire and took him into custody. Duane Lemaire, 50, of 1015 West Nezpique street, Jennings, LA was charged with simple escape and booked into the parish jail with no bond.
