Drug arrest

Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's deputies made a drug arrest this afternoon near North Main street and 3rd street in Jennings. 

Deputies observed a white male subject cross the intersection in front of a vehicle, nearly causing an accident.  While talking with the subject, Queling Curtis Duhon, 40, of 712 Lucy street, Jennings, deputies asked to check his backpack. Duhon gave permission to search, and the search revealed a small amount of crystal Methamphetamine in a plastic bag.

Duhon was arrested and booked into the parish jail for possession of Scheduled II CDS (Methamphetamine).
