Domestic violence arrest

Deputies were called to 29106 Murry Rd, Elton, LA in reference to a domestic disturbance.  When deputies arrived they discovered a female victim had been beaten by her boyfriend.  Further investigation revealed that there was a 3 month old baby in the bed near the victim during the incident and deputies observed injuries on the victim's face.  Shannon Dwayne Nelson, 42, of 727 Lawrence street, Lake Charles, was charged with Domestic abuse battery with child endangerment. Nelson was booked into the parish jail with no bond.
