Domestic disturbance arrest

On April 29th deputies and Lake Arthur police were dispatched to 607 Commercial street in reference to a disturbance.
The disturbance initially was between two juveniles at the residence. The mother, Raymonia Paulette Huntsberry, 36, stepped in and struck her son while deputies were trying to subdue him.
Huntsberry was placed under arrest for domestic abuse battery with child endangerment. She was transported to the parish jail and booked with no bond.
The 16 year old juvenile was also arrested for Disturbing the peace and resisting an officer. The juvenile was released on summons to a relative.
