Domestic disturbance leads to arrest

On July 18, 2021, at 2:30 am Deputies were dispatched to 9055 Highway 190, Elton in reference to a domestic disturbance.
The complainant reported to dispatchers that her husband choked her. Deputies observed marks on her neck and arms.
Jeremy Lynn Ballard, 37, of 9055 Hwy 190 Elton was arrested and transported to the parish jail for booking. Ballard was charged with domestics abuse battery with strangulation
