Domestic disturbance arrest

On Saturday, September 30, Deputies were dispatched to 15509 Atterberry Road, Welsh, Louisiana, in reference to a domestic disturbance between a mother and daughter. 

Deputies learned from the complainant that her daughter was arguing with her became irate with her, grabbed her and forced her into the bedroom where they began to fight over her purse.

Deputies observed the complainant had a towel wrapped around her leg covering a small laceration to her right lower leg. 

The altercation occurred in the presence of 3 children, ages , 15, 4, and 1. 

Deputies placed both, the daughter Jerica Rosa Moore, 21,  under arrest for domestic abuse battery with child endangerment and mother, Stacy Lynn Benoit 45, with domestic abuse battery with child endangerment.  Benoit was released on citation.
