Domestic call 2 arrested

On Thursday, September 1, 2022, Deputies were dispatched to 21259 South Frontage Road lot 40, Iowa, Louisiana, in reference to a domestic disturbance.
On arrival deputies discovered the complainant and boyfriend had been involved in a physical altercation and both had visible injuries.
Marlaya Brean Leckelt, 29, and Warkain Junior Bennett, 38, were arrested on charges of domestic abuse battery. During pat down at arrest, Bennett was found to have a baggy of Marijuana on his person. Bennett was also charged with possession of CDS I marijuana.
