Domestic Abuse battery arrest

Monday afternoon deputies were dispatched to 11262 Nelson road, Welsh for a disturbance. When deputies arrived the victim stated her daughter had struck her several times in the head and on her arms as she defended herself.
The daughter had left the residence before deputies arrived. Shortly after the daughter returned to the residence. Deputies questioned her and she admitted to getting into an argument and hitting her mother. Brianna Lejeune, 20, was arrested and charged with Domestic abuse battery. Lejeune was booked into the parish jail with no bond.
