Domestic Abuse battery arrest

On April 28, 2019 deputies were dispatched to 10102 Verret Road, Iowa for a battery complaint.
When deputies arrived they were told that the argument between the complainant and her boyfriend started earlier that day and that her boyfriend pushed her causing an injury to her arm.
Patrol deputies located the boyfriend at another residence on Constance road. The boyfriend, Richard Wayne Woods,49, of 19499 Constance road, Iowa was placed under arrest for domestic abuse battery and transported to the parish jail for booking.
Woods stated during the argument that he was struck by his girlfriend, Nicole Marie Babineaux, 34. Babineaux was also arrested by deputies for domestic abuse battery and two outstanding warrants from Calcasieu Parish.
