Domestic abuse battery arrest

On Friday June 14, Deputies were dispatched to 24108 Newcomer road, Iowa for a disturbance.
When deputies arrived the female victim reported she was struck by the subject and forced to lock herself in the bathroom until help arrived.
David Joseph Cross, 35, was arrested and booked into the parish jail for domestic abuse battery. He is held with no bond.
