Day with a deputy

Zachary Daigle was privileged to get the opportunity to spend a day riding with Deputies today.  He started the day with two D.A.R.E. deputies, Deputy Richard and Deputy Miguez.  They asked Zachary to choose his favorite restaurant and took him there for lunch.  Following lunch Deputies Richard and Miguez introduced Zachary to Sheriff Woods, Chief Deputy Broussard and the office staff.  Zachary was then given a tour of the courthouse and jail.   Following his meeting with Sheriff Woods Zachary met Deputy Gary and his K-9 Nero.  Zachary had the privilege of watching a demonstration with Deputy Gary and Nero including several aspects of their job.  Before the end of his exciting day he was shown around the investigations division and introduced to the detectives.
