Burglary suspect apprehended

On Friday, May 21, 2021, around 2pm deputies were dispatched to 2001 Fourth Street Lake Arthur, Louisiana, in reference to a burglary.
The complainant observed a female inside his 1998 Jeep Wrangler parked near his barn. The complainant took a photo of the female before she walked off the property. Lake Arthur police located the suspect and held her for deputies.
Felicia Naomi Cormier, 30, of 1440 Fourth street, Lake Arthur, LA was arrested and booked into the parish jail for 2 counts of Simple burglary and Theft of a motor vehicle.
