Bar fight lands two in jail

On Saturday night, Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's deputies responded to a call at 701 Hwy 26 , Lake Arthur, The American Legion Bar. Deputies discovered there was a fight that occurred before deputies arrived.
Brandon Bonin, 43, of 415 Calcasieu Avenue, Lake Arthur was involved and arrested for Aggravated Battery and Sexual Battery. Bonin was transported to the American Legion hospital for treatment before being booked into the parish jail.
Another individual involved, Grant Benoit, 22 of 504 Bliss Street, Lake Arthur, LA was also booked by deputies for Aggravated second degree Battery.
