Jefferson Davis Parish Deputies serving a warrant on an individual in
Lacassine, LA on Wednesday discovered a group of individuals with drugs.
David Cormier (shown left), 43 of 20465 Bourque Road, Lacassine was
arrested on outstanding warrant. Raymond Todd Pousson (shown middle),
41 of 16045 Hwy 165 Iowa, and Shannon Michelle Martinez (shown right),
31, of 5920 Central Drive, Lake Charles were present at the residence.
Cormier admitted to officers that he was cooking methamphetamine at the
residence the day before. A consent to search was obtained and drugs were
found on Pousson and Martinez. Deputies also discovered methamphetamine,
marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in the residence. All three subjects were
transported and booked into the parish jail. Cormier was charged with
Possession of CDS I, Possession of CDS II, and Possession of Drug paraphernalia.
Pousson was charged with Possession of drug paraphernalia, Martinez was charged
with Possession of CDS IV and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
