Animal cruelty arrest

Deputies were called to Duke road, Ragley, Tuesday, a complainant called in and reported that his neighbor had shot the complainant's goat.
When deputies arrived they discovered a wound in the goat's hindquarter. The complainant advised this was the third time the neighbor had shot their goat.
Deputies arrested Karen Sue Myers, 53, of 175 Duke Road, Ragley, LA for aggravated cruelty to animals. Myers was booked into parish jail Tuesday with no bond.
