Aggravated Assault arrest

On Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 6:45 pm Deputies were advised that an altercation with a handgun occurred on Ruffin road, in Elton.
Witness's statements reported that Robin Deshotel, 48, of 27020 Ruffin Road, Elton drove a Silver F-150 and cut them off at the intersection, and held a gun to one individuals head, threatening to kill him if he didn't slow down.
Deshotel was booked into the parish jail on charges of aggravated assault, 3 counts false imprisonment, cruelty to juveniles, obstructing a public passage and obstruction of justice
