Aggravated assault arrest

On October 17, 2023 , Deputies responded to shots fired report on South Frontage road, Welsh around midnight. Deputies discovered that several juveniles were toilet papering a residence.
The homeowner caught the juveniles in the act and fired a handgun. Deputies arrested Roger Dale Broderick, 71, of 10289 South Frontage road, Welsh for Aggravated assault with a firearm.
