On Saturday October 12, around 7:00 pm deputies were called to 2064 Jeff Davis Academy road for a disturbance.  Deputies arrived and discovered the victim was the mother of Coty Charles Fontenot, 30 of 2064 Jeff Davis Academy road and he had just recently been released from jail.

he victim had a protective order against her son and was in fear of being harmed.  The son had fled the scene before deputies arrived. 

Deputies returned to the residence on Jeff Davis Academy road with Jennings police a third time Saturday night at 8:00 pm and Fontenot was arrested for violation of protective order and simple assault.
