On Wednesday September 18, 2019 at around 6:00 pm deputies were called to Peto’s truck stop in Roanoke. The security guard had located a small toddler walking around in the truck parking lot behind the truck stop unattended.

The 3 year old child was picked up by security.  Deputies discovered the mother and her boyfriend had been inside the casino eating dinner and were in the casino area drinking when security and the deputies located them. 

he mother, Jessica Gail Morgan, 30, of 20010 Spring Wreath Lane, Cypress, Texas and her boyfriend, Aaron Michael Pittman, 30, were both arrested and charged with cruelty to a juvenile.  

The DCFS office responded and took the child into custody.  Morgan and Pittman are being held in the parish jail with no bond.
