Jennings man cited for illegally dumping trash

Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff Office patrol deputies received a complaint that a truck was dumping trash in the ditch near Racca Road and Lacour road.  Deputies discovered a 2002 Ford truck and trailer driven by Donald G. Sonnier III, 27, of 211 Seagraves street Jennings leaving the scene.  Deputies stopped Sonnier and he admitted to dumping trash. Sonnier was found to be driving under suspension. Due to crowded jail space, Sonnier was cited for littering and driving under suspension.  Deputies contacted Sonnier's relative to drive vehicle back to scene to remove trash he dumped.
