Drug arrest

On Sunday evening July 21, deputies were investigating a theft and attempting to locate a suspect at the Budget Inn. 

Deputies located a male subject outside the hotel in a vehicle. The male said his mother was in room 119 with two other males.  Deputies approached room 119 and a female opened the door.  Deputies observed fresh needle tracks in the females arm. The three occupants were asked to come outside and speak with deputies. 

The two male subjects also were observed to have fresh needle tracks in arms.  The occupants were asked to identify themselves as deputies were looking for a suspect in an unrelated theft. 

One of the three identified as Adrian Myers was wanted by Acadia parish on outstanding warrants. Deputies requested narcotics investigators respond and they obtained a search warrant for the motel room.   

Adrian Joseph Myers, 29, of 539 Brossette road, Duson was charged with Possession of CDS I, possession of CDS II, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer and two warrants from Acadia parish for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of CDS II. 

Corey James Lejeune, 27, of 1513 Riverside road, Jennings was arrested and charged with possession of CDS I and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Britannia Lee Hebert, 39, of 773 Guillory road, Kinder was arrested and charged with possession of CDS I and possession of drug paraphernalia.  All three are held in the parish jail with no bond.
