Deputies were called to 407 Romero street, Lacassine at 8:00 pm Monday night for a disturbance.  When deputies arrived they were advised that an argument became physical in the bedroom of the residence.

The victim stated her boyfriend pulled her hair and grabbed her by the throat.  The victim’s three minor children were present at the time. 

The boyfriend, Justin Cody Hires, 27 of 407 Romero street, Lacassine was arrested and booked into the parish jail on Domestic abuse battery and Domestic abuse battery with child endangerment. He currently has no bond.
