On Tuesday, Jeff Davis Patrol unit observed a Ford F-150 travelling at a high rate of speed on US 90 before Welsh eastbound. The deputy made a traffic stop on the vehicle for passing in no passing zone and speeding. 

The vehicle was occupied by three males.  Deputies obtained consent to search and discovered drug paraphernalia.

Triston Damien Wayne Kerley, 23, of 2015 Sarver lane, Jennings was arrested and booked on outstanding warrant for contempt of court and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Clifford Louis Fontenot, 26, of 152 Lesim Lane, Jennings, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Allen Parish. 

Both Kerley and Fontenot were transported and booked into the parish jail with no bond.  Fontenot was transferred to Allen correctional.
