Jeff Davis parish Sheriff’s deputies took a report from Tiger mart at 801 Hwy 26 Lake Arthur, LA Wednesday, March 6, 2019 of a shoplifting incident. 

The manager suspected an individual was shoplifting Tuesday evening around 8:15 pm.  A review of the security camera footage showed a white male, red hair, wearing red and white flannel pants and a camouflage jacket took a pair of sunglasses from the store. 

When deputies viewed the video they recognized the person as Dwayne Steven Conner, 28, of 609 Louisiana avenue, Lake Arthur.  Deputies located Conner at his residence and placed him under arrest for Theft and two outstanding contempt of court warrants for simple burglary and simple criminal damage to property.  The sunglasses were recovered and returned to the store.
