Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s deputies received a call from Jennings Police of a disturbance that occurred at the RV park Monday night. 

Deputies were advised that a domestic disturbance occurred at Lot #38A, of RV park at 3304 North Frontage road, Jennings around 10:00 pm, Monday, Jan. 14th. Jennings Police met with the victim at the Shop rite store on Elton Drive in Jennings and received the complaint from the victim.

According to the victim, her boyfriend was drinking and became physical when she asked him to stop because they had to work in the morning.  The victim had bruises and red marks on her face and her clothes were torn.

Deputies traveled to the RV park and located the boyfriend, Jose Carlos Reyes Mendoza, 30, of 223 Bermuda Court, Houma, LA and placed him under arrest for Domestic abuse Battery. Mendoza was booked into the parish jail on a $2,500.00 bond.
