Burglary investigation leads to three arrests

Jefferson Davis Parish sheriff’s deputies made three arrests Thursday evening in Jennings. Detectives received information that two individuals wanted by authorities were staying in a local hotel.

Deputies located the two subjects, Daphne Chantell Patrick, 32, of 302 West 1st street, Roanoke and William Joseph Derouen, 36, of 302 West 1st street, Roanoke, were both arrested for their involvement in the burglary of a residence on CM Davis Road that occurred on September 16, 2018.

Derouen and Patrick were booked on charges of Simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, Identity Theft, Simple criminal damage to property, and Theft.

A third person, Corey Lee Vincent, 32, of 109 Grand avenue, Lake Arthur was also at the hotel room and was found to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine. Vincent was booked into the parish jail on charges of Possession of CDS II and possession of drug paraphernalia.
