Two arrested in vehicle burlgary case

Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s detectives made two arrests today In reference to a vehicle burglary. On May 25th 2018., Patrol deputies were dispatched to 12143 Pine Island Highway in Welsh, La in reference to a vehicle burglary. The victim reported a firearm, a Ruger .22 caliber pistol was missing from the family vehicle.

 Today June 28, 2018, a warrant for Holly Noelle Reed,34, of 12143 Pine Island Hwy, Welsh, La  was obtained for the charges of Theft, Possession of Stolen Things and Obstruction of Justice.

She was arrested on the warrant  at a residence on Sheridan street in Jennings. During the interview with Reed, Detectives discovered Reed had an accomplice. She implicated her boyfriend, Chad Heath Kendall,45, of 12143 Pine Island Highway, Welsh as the person who provided the stolen items to her.

Kendall, a convicted felon was arrested today by detectives, during the arrest a knife was found on Kendall, so he was charged with Theft, Obstruction of justice, and carrying an illegal weapon as well. Both Kendall and Reed are held in the parish jail with no bond.
